From September 13th to 25th 2026 the fourth edition of the CCS+ Summer School will take place with its focus on digitalization of the rail industry. A visit to Brussels, The Netherlands and Germany is again part of the program. Join us in an intense two week curriculum about the future of Control, Command and Signaling.

Curious?

You are:

  • An aspiring young graduate with 1-4 years experience in digital rail

  • An MSc or BSc with a good level of business English

  • Eager to learn more about the digitalization within the railway industry

  • Interested in meeting and exchanging thoughts with like-minded peers from within the railway industry

  • Introduction to Electronic and Digital Interlockings
  • Trainings and education in the context of Digital Interlocking Systems
  • (Automated) Planning and Plan review of ETCS
  • Equipping with ETCS
  • EU fundings incl. Workshop
  • Digital Network District Rostock incl. Workshop on projectmanagement
  • Railsponsibility
  • Digital Object Controllers incl. Workshop
  • (Automated) Translation of Railway Language in Europe
  • Technical supervision of Digital Interlocking Systems

Included

  • Two week all inclusive program
  • In three different European locations (Brussels, Amersfoort, Wildau/Berlin)
  • Lectures/workshops from university professors and experts from the rail industry
  • Group assignments on current topics
  • Technical visits
  • InnoTrans visit included
  • Social program (Evening get together, meet and greet with management from railway organizations and ministry, fireplace talk, meet the Alumni, etc.

  • Travel from country of origin to Brussels
